Hellenic Hull Mutual Association Plc. is a non profit marine insurance organisation, registered in Limassol and governed by Cypriot law in respect to its corporate affairs.

Association operates via seven Directors who are Members of the Association.

It is Association's mentality to ensure that all Members abide by certain requirements and common characteristics, in order to guarantee the implementation of the principle of mutuality. In short these are:
  • Vessel is managed by a Greek or Cypriot company, and/or
  • Vessel is owned by a Greek or Cypriot company, and/or
  • Vessel is flying the Greek or Cypriot Flag.
The Hellenic Hull Mutual Association Plc. provides its Members with insurance cover for the following risks:
  • Hull & Machinery Risks, including Collision Liabilities
  • Increased Value & Disbursements
  • Freight Risks
Contracts providing cover, signed between the Association and its Members, are subject to our Rules and Conditions, which incorporate the Institute Time Clauses - Hulls (1.10.83).

The cover provided is governed by and interpreted through English Law, and it is therefore under the exclusive jurisdiction of the British Courts.

While entering into a contract insured Members reserve the right to require possible Conditions amendment and/or the incorporation of special terms to accommodate the U.S., Norwegian, German or French Clauses, if so desired, following approval by the Association.

This is yet another way through which the flexibility of our policies becomes evident.

Hellenic Hull Mutual Association Plc. provides reliable, competitive and entirely flexible insurance services comprising an entity wholly devoted to the Greek and Cypriot fleet.
