Association's Philosophy |

The concept behind the founders' vision was the creation of a Mutual Insurance Association dedicated to the needs of Greek and Cypriot Ship owners.
Their vision materialised. Hellenic Hull Mutual Association Plc. was founded in early 1994 in Limassol, Cyprus. Full knowledge of the needs of Greek and Cypriot ship owners, in conjunction with utilising English Insurance practices has led to achieving the goals our founders set.
The Association adopted an innovative approach to Marine Insurance in Greece and Cyprus forming a mutual relationship between the insurer and the insured, given that all members are equal, sharing the right to mutual protection - Association's fundamental principle. Members also retain the right to actively participate in the management of the Association, as well as the decision making process and forging of strategy. Hence Association's Board of Directors consists of seven managing directors, all Members of the Association.
The leading edge of the Association over its competitors is the close contact among Members as well as its capacity to swiftly tend to Members' needs and offer prompt and effective insurance services.
